Future Internet mini-projects

The Future Internet course has started last December. The course will consists of a few research seminars, and mini-projects, presenting a live demo or recent advances in an area of interest.

Here are the list of subjects selected by the students this year:

  • Network Telemetry  & DDOS (with Cisco).
  • CORD (Central Office re-architected as a Datacenter)
  • SDN in sensor networks
  • Future of aircraft data center and networks
  • UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle, drone) networks

The seminars will consist of :

  • IPv6 Centric Networking, by W.M.Townsley (Cisco)
  • Information Centric Networking by D.Rossi (TPT)
  • Software Defined Networks & Network Function Virtualization by P.Nivaggioli (Cisco)
  • Internet of things by T.Clausen (Polytechnique)

About Jean-Louis Rougier

Jean-Louis Rougier is professor at the Network and Computer Science Department of Telecom ParisTech. He is leading the "Network, Mobility and Servies" research team. He got his Ph.D. from Telecom ParisTech in 1999 and M.Sc from the same institution in 1996. Jean-Louis co-coordinates the ACN Masters program.
